RETURNS & EXCHANGES
You may return an item for exchange or store credit within 14 days of receiving it.
Once your return request is approved, you must send the item back to us within 14 days.
To qualify for a return, the item must be unused, unwashed, and in the same brand-new condition as when you received it, including its original packaging.
To initiate a return, please contact us with your order details, order number, and reason for return.
Customers are responsible for all return and exchange shipping costs. We strongly recommend using a tracked courier service to prevent lost parcels. Modern Mini is not responsible for missing returns, and we can only process your request once we have received the returned item in our warehouse.
The time it takes for your exchanged item to reach us may vary depending on your location.
Please note that sale items are final and cannot be returned or refunded.
FAULTY ITEMS
If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us immediately and provide your order number and details within 21 days of receiving your order.
Once we receive the returned faulty item, we will either offer a refund or send a replacement (subject to stock availability).
Our team will work with you to find the best resolution.
REFUNDS
Once we receive and inspect your returned item, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.
If approved, the refund will be processed, and a credit will be applied to your original payment method within 14 days.
Shipping fees are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, the original shipping cost will be deducted unless the return is due to a manufacturing defect or shipping error on our part.
For orders that qualified for free shipping, we reserve the right to deduct our shipping costs from any refund issued.
If you are returning an item due to a change of mind or inability to pay customs duties or fees in your country, you will receive store credit for the item’s value, excluding shipping costs.
Refunds for purchases made via Afterpay will incur a 5% non-refundable fee charged by the payment provider.
SHIPPING DELAYS
Once your order has been shipped, Modern Mini is not responsible for any delivery delays caused by factors beyond our control.
INCORRECT SHIPPING ADDRESS
If you have entered the wrong shipping address at checkout, please email us at info@modernmini.co.nz as soon as possible.
We can only update your shipping details if your order has not yet been dispatched. If you have already received a tracking number, the address cannot be changed. In this case, please contact your local courier depot to request an address update.
Modern Mini is not responsible for items delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. If a parcel is returned to us due to an incorrect address, additional shipping fees will apply to resend it to the correct location.
